Santa Fe Trust, Inc. (SFT) is an independent, privately owned trust company with full corporate trust powers. We are
the largest independent trust company in New Mexico.
SFT has hundreds of trust clients throughout the United States, provides support to hundreds of financial advisors and
is growing rapidly. Our seasoned administrative staff has over 100 years of combined trust industry experience.
SFT administers Personal Trusts, Irrevocable Life
Insurance Trusts ("ILITs"),
Custodial Trusts, Special
Needs Trusts, Special Asset Trusts, Offshore Asset Protection Trusts, Conduit IRA Trusts and IRAs, Charitable Remainder
Trusts (CRTs), Charitable Lead Trusts (CLTs), and private foundation
administration. SFT also offers estate administration and bill
paying services.
Santa Fe Trust’s pioneering business model decouples trust administration services from investment management. SFT
encourages trust asset performance by engaging qualified, referring financial advisors who recommend our services to
their clients. Investment management for each SFT trust account is typically provided by the qualified financial
advisor who recommends the account to SFT.
Santa Fe Trust also provides trust services for trust clients with special assets, including real estate and other
less typical trust assets.
SFT is frequently referred by financial planners, registered investment advisors, broker/dealers, estate-planning
attorneys, tax accountants, insurance professionals and our existing customers to trust clients across the United
States who are seeking an independent trust company with personal service.
SFT is unaffiliated with any bank or other financial institution and received its New Mexico State charter in 1997.
